A few inches keep me tall
White-stitched, silver-buckled
Walk away. Look no more.


Emeralds and jade, opal and sapphire
Sewn together, nothing else’s fine.
Sole rested in the golden flats
Not a sight. Not in my pad.


The casual white, the comfy one
shining still, stylish pumps
Rubber, yes. Yet, style defined
Never will I assume you’re mine.


Shoes…shoes, you never last.
You get me hooked in just a glance.
You wear out fast as time passed.
