Pool of Emotions for your Poem

To write a poem needs a quite pool of emotions. Unlike writing lyrics that you can be guided by the beat or music, poems need not any back up but imagination to play with your feelings. Poetry is wall painting in words. Just read a poem and the picture embeds in your mind. In fact, the graphics is too vivid to ignore. That is how poetry works in our mind.
It is one heaven of a challenge to come up with a poem. Even those who are a pro cannot just put words together if emotion does not prompt her to do so. Yet sometimes, while walking around or even in the middle of something, words just play your mind without a warning. And before you knew it, you were already whispering. Many times too these words are wasted if the writer will not grab a pen to record such lovely and playful activity of the mind. Despite words just coming out, it is not all the time that a poet wants to write and stop over things that she is already engaged to. There are season too that everyday can be a poetry day. Quality-wise, poems are not as good when writing is not in the heart as those of moments that a writer is passionate about coming up with one. It is not just about fine arts that artists can use their skills without creativity or imagination by creating a landscape painting copied from the front lawn. As it is said, poetry takes a lot of emotion and creativity to work together. Too much feeling poured in to it, in fact, triggered and more stimulated becomes actually draining in the part of the writer.
There is nothing wrong with conditioning the mind before coming up with a poem. In fact, a master poet can do this anytime needed. But then, it is irrefutable that there are periods that the heart and the mind prompt her to just simply make her hand with pen move over a piece of something. When this happens, she knows so well what a brilliance it will result to! This can be compared to artist who just woke up in the middle of the night, with eyes shut, the hands just move to create a magnificent wall painting in his canvas.

As if it is…

(As requested, made it lighter and simpler. For you, my friendly wolf----)

I thank you for the warmth

The touch dwells on the mind

The care and love you’ve shown

The passion when we talk.

I thank you for how you adore me

From head to toe, heart to mind

And placed me on a pedestal

As I’m a godess in the land.

I thank you for your kisses,

The pecks on the lips,

Your breath on my neck

Your whispers in my ear.

I thank you for your heart

For beating close to mine

For speaking of kindness

 For being mine, no less.

I thank you for the friendship

For your wilful lovely soul

To let me think of the above

As if it is true and existing!

Relationship and its Complications

What if love strikes in a complicated situation? It must
really be hard to be the other someone in a party if you live in a country
where one has to cheat and lie just to pursue love and leave the other one
behind. The complication is more than an abstract wall painting that is smeared
all over.

There are complications in love when legally, it becomes
prohibited. Not to mention, being happy at the expense of someone hurting is
the worse guilt one will carry, given that one has a conscience. However, there
is one what people call internal arrangement as long as both parties agree to
both having someone else already, then that is fine. This, of course, happens
not due to lack of love between a couple but there are just things that are
irrepairable from too much damage or perhaps one of the parties close the door
for repair because from years of tumultuous relationship ugly situations went
overboard which such can even be compared to uncured wall painting. But then,
it does not matter anymore. Looking at the past would not help, neither
restoring or reviving love is even acceptable. What matters now is that the
couple live as friends, give freedom to each other, create a comfortable
set-up, and open themselves to romantic love once again to new people in their lives
without cheating, lying, deceiving, and guilty feeling. Honesty is the key.
Openness is the way. Such needs to start on the first day if love outside an
existing complicated relationship (turned to just friendship) begins.
Others go through deception first and hurt the other person.

There is too much pain inflicted that yes very damaging for years that no
matter how you move forward, mentally and emotionally, it will be quite an
extra challenge. This should not take place. The couple know by themselves that
things are not working out for them. The couple know that they are damaging to
each other not unless things will be settled by creating an internal
arrangement. Original oil paintings should be well delineated from prints.
Truly, the system should be as clear as that.

Estranged couples should end up as friends in the long run.
They are to help each other no matter what. Things went bad but it cannot be
denied how they have been a shoulder to each other in so many ways.

Some Princess Thoughts!

You remember your youthful stage and how you wished to be a
princess. You know it would feel good to be one. Aside from fairy tale stories
of gowns and crowns and of gems and diamonds, you know too that for every
princess, there is a prince charming. Well, in books and in wall paintings, there
is.

It feels good to be in a dreamy state. It is quite blissful
out there. From nice princesses, you can ascend to being a hot and powerful
queen like Cleopatra. It is all in the
mind and it is fun. And the best part of all is that you have all the servants
around you when you are a princess. So what if this happens centuries ago or so
what if it is just every kids’ fairy tale but the thought of it lingers through
adulthood! But why you have a feeling
that you will be one and it is soon coming. However, maybe not a princess this
time but a queen! And you smile how your mind works because for you to be one,
you need to meet a king first. It is like the story of Cinderella or some story
some wall paintings tell. Perhaps, some fairy tales that you grew up with still
work wonders in your mind. What would it be like to meet a prince or what would
it be like to have a king fall in love with you? Perhaps, you will always look
beautiful and sweet. And surely he becomes a king because he is gentleman and
loving. He is like the epitome of every woman’s dream. And because there is no
princess yet, you can assume the role and character of whichever you want in a
day. It is either you become a princess if you want to or be a queen if the
situation calls for it. Ahhh…and your one and only son be soon the heir to the
throne and you laughed out loud with the thought when you remembered your
harassers and how you will order the knights of the castle to punish them. You
know how you’d be when you become a queen. You are someone so sweet , nice,
loving, and very compassionate but not when “fierce of personality” is called
due to some situations. Most likely, in such a case you could even overpower
the king. You know yourself so well this time.

So much of Cinderella story! You do not want to start from
ash and grease again. You’ve been there. You want to claim the castle now. Fill
it original oil painting of precious values.

Wholeness of Emotion in a Few Lines

There is magic in writing poems. Even the best of writers
will attest that poem writing is not as easy as others think. It is like wall painting when one has to convey emotion in few words, not to mention that putting of words together
should sound good when read overall. The choice, too, may impose dilemma
between expressing through metaphors or other idiomatic expressions and
expressing it plain and simple, as direct to the point.

There is something in poem writing if one will just master
how to do it. The truth is you fall in love with your own works. And if times,
you feel like reflecting, you can count on your poems to express what your
hearts would just want to pour out in such emotional moment. Imagine to write
all the contents of your heart in a few lines to create an expression that will
strike the heart of your reader like a dagger embedded in your soul, must be
something. Music can effectively do this. We get swayed with music as
stand-alone. All the more that it becomes more effective which is strong enough
for someone to get heavily carried away if there are words as lyrics put to it.
But, what about poems? Obviously, they are more silent compared to songs. But
they touch not just the heart but the soul. They are not like landscape
painting that can be decorative while at the same time conveying a meaning.
Poems are not novels or stories that a writer is given the chance to be
descriptive of everything to make the flow effective. They are not dancing
where gestures and actions can speak on top of the music. And as it is said, it
is not a song where there is a beat to make you move. Poems are simply few
lines of one’s innermost thought but such short stanzas can say it all. Once
effectively written, it does more to the soul, in fact, than to the heart.

Poetry is more similar to wall painting than any form of
arts. And to say which is more superior depends on the person if he or she is
more of visual than words or the other way around. Poem writing is addicting. You get obsessed to your own writing. In fact, when you read your own composition yourself, you get
hooked to it and you tend to bring the feeling back felt during the time such
is written.

Words can make you Fall

Look how words can make or break a day of a person. See how these letters put together can make a woman fall in love. They may not necessarily be direct from the mouth of a person who tries to woe her but these can be a form of lyrics of a song or straight from poetry book. Wall paintings cannot do the same not unless the artist is too important to the recipient of the art.
If someone says I will catch a grenade for you just how Bruno Mars says it well, then you’d be prompt to look at him direct in his eyes and see if the veracity of the statement comes from his heart. Or someone who wants to goof around with you can just blabber these words and you come out laughing and yet you can say it is still entertaining. For women, flattery is lovely. It is human nature to adore receiving words of praise of whether they are real or not. It is human nature too to simply disgust criticism and just focus on what lovely words they are getting from peers. Words make or break a person. This is why, it good to start the day with music and retire with a song that can make you dream sweet and nice. Lyrics or wordings from a poem can justify what you feel within of whether it is of pain or bliss, what is important is something has affirmed it to make you understand more of what you feel inside. Songs and poems just like other artworks for sale are human company. They stay with you. The words reverberate. They make noise. And the best part is you choose what to listen to.
Most of the time, we listened to words that serve as our sympathizers-- something that understands us, something that says we are loved, something that affirms what we feel to make us believe that our emotion does not lie at all because somewhere out there who is singing the song or has written the poem believe in the presence of our current emotion. It gives us an idea that we are not alone. Someone out there is feeling the same, too. It is the power of words. From them, we make-believe and because of them we hope, and sometimes we escape reality.

Hopeless

In a lonesome space, there’s a body without soul
It treads through the paths of Hills without greens
As it asks for the rains, the clouds became red
And spoke in a language unheard; never said
Provoking the spirits to come down and restore!

What is it to bring back in a breathless life?
What is it to restore in a heart of veins clogged?
What is hope for a man whose soul is in hiding?
What can a spirit do to a mouth that is lyng?
What prompts love to love and nothing more?

In a lost space of faces aging and hair fading,
There is a true to life mending of heart breaking
A full blown story of an original oil painting
Cracked, sun –exposed, unframed yet unmoved
What a drama that the earth won’t dare overlook!

What is with the mind when all it speaks is pain
Aching for the mystified love of a soulless-born
Asking for the understanding of what the heart groans
Longing for a reason to justify the mourn
When heart and mind buried to no hope at all!

I am a Woman

I am a model I stride with impeccable grace I glide and hate to run Yet poise be questioned. I am an angel I fly without wings I walk in a runway Like a heaven-sent babe. I am a doll My dress is floral It has lace and frills ribbons and prints. I am Pink So sweet and so true Charming and cute You see me and you wink. Yet I am a woman With unwavering faith Unmoved by storm I sing in the rain. And so I am Ms Fierce Never frightened, When I stand alone “swag” is my name! Aps Asian art

The Lovely Bone

Life in a majestic move
Triangural piece of bone
One half in the deserts
The other in the snow
Such to be back in whole
Is an ocean full of holes
No goal to ever pass
to keep laughter at hush
A trillion leaps to cross
Four mountains moved
The air filled with magic
The lips to cast a spell
A vision of wilderness
minds and hearts triumph
For such a piece of bone
To be lovely and whole.

From A Distance

It
is not all about healing
It
is about what’s inside
The
moon that brings the feeling
And put
me up on a light
Wondrin’
how it started
The
prowess of the mind
The connection
has gone wild
The strength
of hearts on fire
Red is
the color, black is the shade
Of life
on a shadow
Of
once bleeding tale
Lead
me up to heights
And put
me on a trance
Let
sight be in wilderness
To
only see the sky
There
my darling we look through
Over
heaps of love and life
No sand
ever so fine
From
dust to piles of stars
No
cloud is high to reach
No deep
is its lowest
When
you start kissing my heart
To love
me from afar.

Bring Me Back

Asian Art

When is the last time I fell
When is the last time I smiled
When is the last time I cried
When is the last time I loved?

Seems like sadness is forever
Seems like being one never ends
Seems longing is prolonged
Seems life is not all healing.

What triggers this emotion
What defines what’s inside
What loving heart could mend
What a loss of light in life!

Say I’d be okay, Say I’d be fine
Say you’d be here, Say you’d stay
Allow me dream of you
Allow me cast the spell

Let my soul meet yours
By the time we soar high
To once again find
the girl with a big smile!

In My Mind

Words to put you on a
trance,
set you in the mid of
romance.
The heat ignites the
flame inside
with the touch so
real
when you say you
will.
Unquestioned love--
Who cares if it is
not?
Of truth and lies,
Wall painting attests
t’will be us again tonight.
Madness came to mind
Honey never been so
sweet
Passion so alive
Resistance denied
From the kiss we’ve gone wild
for all that reside in the mind.
